About Us 

Departing from historic Newburyport  harbor we offer half  day trips for Bass, Bluefish, Macks, and Flounder. Daytime or sunset cruises along our spectacular shoreline. Capt. Mark has many years  of experience as a U.S.C.G. licensed  captain. Using innovative fishing techniques and specialized  trolling  rigs, live baits, or drift fishing we catch trophy fish every season. Our 31' Cabo Express powered by twin CAT diesels is equipped with state of the art electronics and tournament grade fishing tackle. Plenty of room to fight the big ones or just stretch out and relax in comfort! Take a climb up in the "tuna tower" and check out the spectacular views!  We look forward to having you aboard  "Sundance" to enjoy some of the best fishing and  beautiful shoreline in New England.

The Merrimack River and Plum Island waters  produce trophy fish every season! Capt. Mark started fishing the local waters at twelve years old. Learning from "old salts" he has over twenty five years of local fishing knowledge. While in college he studied marine biology at Shoals Marine Lab. Experience and state of the art electronics on Sundance get his customers on the fish! 

Spectacular Daytime River and Coastal Cruises

Experience some of the most beautiful coastline the Northeast has to offer.  Our great saltmarsh and coastline are home to Seagulls, Eagles, Osprey, Hawks, and seals. Sundance has all the amenities you expect in a private charter! Comfortable seating areas, plenty of in deck cooler space, and private bathroom. Our goal is to ensure your trip is a fantastic experience!

Sunset and Evening Cruises

No better way to spend a summer evening! Relax and enjoy our spectacular sunsets along Plum Island and the Merrimack River.  Cruise down the Merrimcak river past historic Newburyport. On to Joppa Flats and the beautiful great salt marsh. Then enjoy spectacular coastal views from Maine to Cape Ann while cruisng the coastline.

We are rigged with Penn spinfishers, VSX Internationals, and Penn 130 Internationals.

We start fishing minutes from our docks! Out seasoned crew sets the gear, rigs your baits, and puts you on the fish! All you need to do is reel em' in!
